If driven by external gearing, we suggest a rotation speed of 1400r/min or lower to optimize working conditions and prolong service life of the gearbox. Higher input rotation speeds are permitted, but in this situation, the rated torque M2 will be reduced.

The service factor fs takes into account the effect of the driven machine on the gear unit to a sufficient level of accuracy. The service factor is determined according to the daily operation time and starting frequency Z. Three load classifications are considered depending on the mass acceleration factor.
