Our UDL series worm gearbox is a highly modular design that can be connected with various motors including normal motors, brake motors, explosion-proof motors, frequency conversion motors, servo motors, IEC motors, and more. The UDL series worm gearbox comes in over 4 different types, with power ranging from 0.12-4kw, ratio of 3.66-54, and torque max 120-500Nm. It can be connected (foot or flange) at the discretion of the customer, and use multi-mounting positions to meet specific requirements.

4.2 Rotation speed n

If driven by external gearing, we suggest a rotation speed of 1400r/min or lower to optimize working conditions and prolong service life of the gearbox. Higher input rotation speeds are permitted, but in this situation, the rated torque M2 will be reduced.
4.5 Service factor fs
The service factor fs takes into account the effect of the driven machine on the gear unit to a sufficient level of accuracy. The service factor is determined according to the daily operation time and starting frequency Z. Three load classifications are considered depending on the mass acceleration factor. You can read off the service factor applicable to your application in the following figure. The service factor selected using this diagram must be less than or equal to the service factor as given in the performance parameter table.
